Laundry Powder

from $10.00

Tackle all of your laundry challenges with this powder containing only three simple ingredients: soap flakes, baking soda, and washing soda.

The soap flakes clean, and the baking soda and washing soda boost odor and stain fighting power.

Compatible with top loading, front loading, and high efficiency (HE) machines.

For your most delicate items, consider using soap flakes, alone—less than 1 tbsp. per load.

Cloth diapers? Ditch detergent residue buildup that clings to stink—this soap-based laundry powder is for you!

Most laundry detergents leave behind a residue on your clothing that builds up over time. It will take multiple washes with this soap-based powder to clear away that residue—so stick with it!

Our soap flakes are made with care by the Pure Soap Flake Company in northern Minnesota, and our laundry powder is mixed in-house using thoughtfully sourced baking soda and washing soda.

  • Recommended amount:
    -1 tbsp for average load
-2 tbsp for large or soiled load
-3 tbsp for extra large or heavily soiled load

For cold wash, pre-dissolve powder in a cup of warm water before adding to your machine.

To treat stains, mix with hot water to form a paste and rub on stain.

  • Ingredients: Sodium carbonate (washing soda), sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), soap (coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, water, sodium hydroxide*).

*Food grade. None remains after saponifying the oils into soap and glycerin.

All soapmaking requires an alkali--typically sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide--to react with the acids in the oils and create soap. Soap labels are not required to specify this ingredient, but we are proud to offer one of the few soaps made with a food-grade (as opposed to industrial-grade) alkali, and we want you to know it!
